my journey

Thank you

Thank you to all the people around me who have supported me throughout the past months!

I want to thank my current GP in Germany, who has listened to me, understood the situation and has supported my medical needs in every aspect. Furthermore, I want to thank my psychologist in Koblenz who helped me to process the traumatic events.

I want to thank the hospital in Mechernich, the university clinic in Bonn and my local hospital Kemperhof (especially the cardiologist) who helped me to recover after the surgeries and failed post-op treatment in the other hospital where I had the surgeries.

I want to thank the angiologist in Cologne, who does his job very good and is well aware of the problematic I and others are going through after failed/unnecessary surgery and wants to support us as good as he can.

I also want to thank the vascular team at Imperial College who were the only ones who agreed to help me, conducted important testings and treated me the past few months.

I want to thank all the people, who think of me, send their well wishes, visit me at the hospitals. I want to thank my friends, who know how to deal with the situation, distract me from the pain, but also know when to leave me alone.

Most of all, I want to thank my mum. Despite other struggles she always holds my back (literally, she knows where to massage my back, flank and stomach). I have definitely inherited the willing to fight from her.

Bo, have a bone.
